Tio Rico have beeing providing Tasmanian events and festivals with our inspired mexican South-American food  over 17 years now. 

Our banner says Tasmanian Fresh, Mex - South American Taste and this is what we deliver. We use as much locally sourced produce as possible in all of our items on the menu, from Tasmanian hormone growth promotant free beef, free range chicken, Tassal Atlantic salmon y Tasmanian scallops (for both our burritos, empanadas, quesadillas and nachos), and Tamar Valley (Legana Greengrocer) frozen berries and Hartzview fortified raspberry wine in our Daiquiris

Our stall is presented to reflect the menu: fun, bright, and colourful. Our signage is also bright and the items are presented in photos with the pricing clearly visible.

We  cater to a variety of tastes, with vegetarian, gluten free and vegan options available to our patrons. Our hand-made empanadas are a specialty, with the corn maize being imported into Australia from Colombia. There are only a handful of places in this country where this kind of empanada is prepared. we do have a great menu that not only include Mexican food but also we cater for a variety of food preferences that ensure all your guess are fully satisfy(breakfast lunch & dinner)
